My calligraphy journey goes back to the third grade when my mom had bought me a nice calligraphy set from the "bookman" at school (so many cool things I remember from growing up came from the "bookman" lol) and while I was very excited about this new hobby for a while, I moved on to who knows what, as most kids do. My calligraphy journey goes back to the third grade when my mom had bought me a nice calligraphy set from the "bookman" at school (so many cool things I remember from growing up came from the "bookman" lol) and while I was very excited about this new hobby for a while, I moved on to who knows what, as most kids do. Fast forward about 20 years and hand lettering is all over Instagram and I figure I should try it. Imagine my surprise when I picked it up quicker than I ever thought, and I owe it to learning the basics all those years ago. Thank you, mom.
When I'm not working on calligraphy I'm doing one of my many other hobbies, knitting is a big one. If I'm not crafting, you can find me spending time with friends.
